The Toss: Trent Bridge Return as Glamorgan Awaits

Nottinghamshire v Glamorgan - Rothesay County Championship Div 1 - 10-13 April 2026 - Trent Bridge Return as Glamorgan Awaits

Nottinghamshire head back home to Trent Bridge this weekend, hoping to notch up their first win of the season in front of their home fans and begin to forge that momentum that took them all the way to the County Championship title last summer.

The biggest question that Notts have is around the depth of their squad, not that they have doubts on a few players but quite the opposite, trying to get as many players a game. I don't envy Peter Moores job this Friday and though its not always easy to manage, its a nice problem to have.

With both Ben Duckett and Josh Tongue available, the likely return to the side of Fergus O'Neill, plus you could also conceivably have Brett Hutton in contention too, just who comes back in and how do you manage the rest of the naturally disappointed players that won't have done much wrong.
