There is no disguising the fact that Trent Rockets will feel the absence of Nat Sciver-Brunt when they begin their 2026 Hundred campaign this afternoon against Birmingham Phoenix at Edgbaston.
The England captain has been ruled out of the opening two matches with the recurring calf injury that affected her T20 World Cup campaign, depriving the Rockets of arguably the most influential all-rounder in the women's game and a player who has so often been the heartbeat of their success.
