Welcome to The Trent, your dedicated Independent site on everything Nottinghamshire Cricket Club, The Blaze and Trent Rockets

We are excited to welcome everyone to this site that focuses on everything Notts Cricket and brings you an independent look at everything going on at Trent Bridge.

There will be a little bit of something for everyone and we also want to tailor any content to your preferences so let us know what you like and what you want to see on The Trent.

We've got lots coming up including Match Previews and Analysis, player profiles, history and nostalgia, quizzes, club news and features and much more. Not forgetting that we will soon be launching Trent Talk, an upcoming podcast featuring plenty of guests and Notts fans alike!

The site will be led by Sports Journalist Andy Moore who has worked in professional game for over a decade, currently holding the role of In-Ground Analyst predominantly based in the East Midlands. If you see me, feel free to say hello during the upcoming season.

We are excited to be following Notts across the upcoming season, as County Championship Division One Champions, it's an exciting season as they look to retain their title.

Not only that, we will be looking forward to the One Day Cup, not forgetting the excitement of the T20 Blast, following the Outlaws and the Trent Rockets in The Hundred. We'll of course be covering The Blaze who continue to challenge in the Women's game on all fronts, led by our Women's Head writer Jamie Ramage.

It's going to be a fantastic adventure talking all things Notts Cricket and we can't wait to showcase everything we have for you at The Trent.
