Hampshire go into the 2026 season looking to put their horrid 2025 season behind them, avoiding relegation by just one point at the expense of Durham in what can only be described as a surprise loss of form.

Squad Overview

After last season's horror show, there might have been an expectation that the squad would have significant turnover but that hasn't happened and they will again rely on the majority of their squad from last season and hope that it was an anomaly for a normally very consistent and reliable group of players.

Their batting hasn't quite looked the same since James Vince went to a white-ball only deal but they have tried to plug his absence with the arrival of Aussie-based Jake Lehmann, here on a UK passport.
