It's an exciting time in County Cricket coverage as CounterPress Media are looking to reverse the decline of coverage of cricket in England, with dedicated coverage of clubs across the domestic game.

Bringing you the latest on County Champions Nottinghamshire and The Blaze, we embark on an exciting time at the club having secured the County Championship Division One title last season and our aim is to bring you regular coverage of the club from an independent point of view.

There is lots of great news and features that have planned, you will see already the coverage on the site and there will be lots coming each week.

Who Are We

The Trent will be ran by Andy Moore and many of you will have seen me at the club on match-days as I work for the leading and ECB Partnered Cricket Analysis company - CricViz - as their East Midlands analyst.

Being able work in the cricket industry at one of the most unique grounds in the country in Trent Bridge with its passionate supporters is an honour and I am keen to also return to my roots as Sports Journalist, a passion that I continue to maintain to this day and what better than writing about the game we all love!

I will be joined on The Trent by Jamie Ramage, who many of you will know as a vibrant supporter of the Women's Game in particular and his coverage of The Blaze over the last few years has been second to none and another great reason to Subscribe Today!
