Trent Rockets completed their women’s squad for the upcoming season of The Hundred following the competition’s first full women’s player auction. The Rockets assembled one of the strongest squads in the league, headlined by several international stars and a number of experienced domestic all-rounders.

The Trent bridge based side, coached by Chris Read, focused on building a balanced team with powerful batting options and multiple bowling all-rounders capable of adapting to the fast-paced 100-ball format.

Headline Auction Signing

The Rockets’ biggest acquisition was Australia wicketkeeper-batter Beth Mooney, who was signed for £210,000, one of the joint-highest deals in the women’s auction. The experienced international has more than 200 appearances for Australia and is widely regarded as one of the best white-ball batters in the world.
