Craig Cumming, The Blaze coach, said during media day back in April that it was all about getting The Blaze ‘on the dance floor’, and they ensured that they enjoyed it with two accomplished performances.
They finally put any doubts about last season’s semi-final failures behind them to win the 2026 Vitality Blast at The Kia Oval.
They put in two glitzy performances to prove their credentials as one of the teams to beat. They saved their two best performances for their final two games. This season, when they have needed to put a shift in, they have found it from somewhere, if not always convincingly.
