STUMPS: Blaze keep winning with impressive win against Surrey

The Blaze helped themselves to another bonus-point win, keeping them top of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup table. It was again far from easy as the top order again failed to fire, despite the return today of Amy Jones, eventually running out winners by five wickets with more than 15 overs to spare.
The bowlers set up the victory, having reduced Surrey to 57 for five inside the first fifteen overs. Kirstie Gordon claimed three wickets inside seven balls and two in the fifteenth over.
Priyanaz Chatterji, the Scottish international, top-scored for Surrey with 45, but 164 all out was never going to be enough runs to help her side win the game. When The Blaze found themselves 61 for five in the fifteenth over, the game was in the balance.
