After a gap of nine days, The Blaze travel to Exmouth to take on Somerset, who currently sit fourth in the Metro Bank One Day Cup standings.
The Blaze have been on a good run of wins, even if the results haven’t always come easily at times, and sit top of the table, four points clear of Hampshire in second, who they play at Trent Bridge on Friday.
There were positive signs for The Blaze in their last game against Surrey. The bowlers all chipped in with wickets, and Georgia Elwiss batted well with 76 not out, while Emma Jones showed she is starting to settle in well with 36 against her old side, giving The Blaze middle-order some stability and the potential to attack.
