Emma Jones Discusses Blaze Move, Competition and Opportunity in 2026

Emma Jones may be a new signing for The Blaze, but she is far from an unfamiliar face. Having spent the 2025 Hundred season with Trent Rockets, the attacking all-rounder now has the chance to show more of what she can offer in Blaze colours.
“I’d love to be able to show people a bit more of what I can do,” Jones said. “But also what this team’s about, and to get a few wins under the belt.”
Interest from The Blaze came as a surprise for Jones. “I remember getting the message from James [Cutt] when they wanted to talk to me, and I wasn’t expecting it at all,” she said.
“I’ve always looked at the team and thought they’re one of the best in the country, and one that I’d like to go and play for.”
